I am a traditionalist. I want every home we build to fully stand the test of time – from design to construction to overall aesthetics – following the precedent my grandfather Leon H. Tiffany set over 80 years ago. He was a straight shooter, and a man I greatly admired: a farmer, a town father, a gifted designer, and a highly respected builder. I really feel that it was through him I developed an intense appreciation for things built with care, purpose, sound engineering, and beauty.
His approach to getting things done was “If you’re going to do it all, you have to do it right” and “time , tide, and Tiffany wait for no man”- he was a character! I still enjoy using some of his old hand tools which remain the best choice for special jobs. I wish he could be here to see the many great projects I’ve had the privilege of being a part of.
